Venetian Walk II is a second phase 52-unit family, mixed finance, affordable housing project completed in partnership with the Venice Housing Authority (VHA). Financing included 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits ($0.92 tax credit pricing), Sarasota County Funds, City of Venice funds, SAIL & ELI loans from FHFC, and VHA capital funds. The total development cost was $12,211,000. Venetian Walk II serves tenants at 60% AMI and lower with 15 ACC subsidized units. Unit sizes include 1BR – 677sf, 2BR – 1,126sf, and 3BR – 1,346sf, which are contained in two-story & three-story garden style buildings. Venetian Walk II is certified silver from Florida Friendly Landscape. This project was completed in October 2020 on-time and under-budget.
