Valor Preserve

Valor Preserve is a 64-unit permanent supportive housing development for veterans of the US armed forces and residents who have a Disabling Condition. Newstar co-developed Valor Preserve with Pinellas County Housing Authority (PCHA), and completed this development in July 2024. PCHA is the owner and property manager, and Boley Centers coordinates resident services. This development reserves 10 (15%) of the units for households earning 33% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI) and 54 (85%) of the units for households earning 60% or less of AMI. Financing includes 9% tax credit equity from Raymond James Tax Credit Equity, SAIL/ELI funding from Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC), Pinellas County loan funds, a Home Depot Foundation grant, and a PCHA loan.
